Although the snow didn’t stop “Seafood Gourmet Festival” started from 10:00 a.m. next to Gondola Base Station at Iwatake. The seafood was brought to the venue from Itoigawa city (facing to the Sea of Japan), and the steaming dishes made us hungry.

The free special Nanban Shrimp Soup was the most popular, and the visitors were waiting to eat it. There was crab soup (300 JPY), and I saw the red crabs at the large pot. Also we tried to burn and eat the Japanese style BBQ set (L:1000 JPY, S:700 JPY), and we could also eat grilled turban shell (300 JPY).

“The shrimp is so delicious!” said the visitors from Hakuba, Omachi and Matsumoto with smile. There were the fund for the large-scale fire in Itoigawa City, which happened on Last December.

By the way, thanks to the recently heavy snowfall, all the courses at the Villageside were available today (except only by4). At Two top Course and Big Bahn, where we can go from Kamo 1 lift, I saw many people were practicing hard.
