Iwatake / △110cm / Snowy2017.Jan.13
The snow is falling continuously after Jan. 11 (Wed.). It was heaviest snowfall of this season last night. The snowfall got weaker this morning but started to fall heavily from around 9 a.m. At the summit of Iwatake strong wind was blowing from west and snow was falling heavily. Also the fog was covered the summit and visibility was low.
[The summit of Iwatake]
The North was nicely soft & flat and covered with 5-10 cm fresh snow, so I could ski comfortably. In the steep slope at the end of North, there were over 40 cm of fresh snow was remained fresh even at around 11 a.m.
[North]
The visibility got worse around noon at the mountain-side. The groomed run of South and Gezan Course was covered with 5-10 cm fresh snow. The snow got bit firm because of treading but I could make turns as I imagined.
[Gezan Course]
As I skied down to middle part of Sunny Valley Course the visibility got better. There were no bushes in Gezan Course and Sunny Valley because of heavy snowfall from last night. Paradise slope was nicely firm and in a good condition too.
