It was snowing in the thick fog in the upper areas of the ski area. A couple from Aichi Prefecture (Photo) gave me the greeting, “We check your reports everyday! I expected more snow when I saw the live camera, but the snow is not so much.” The off-piste areas on the sides of the course had 10-13cm fresh snow.

The groomed slopes of Usagidaira (Photo) and along Kurobishi No.2 Quad were nicely firm with the mixed snow of wet and corn snow. The 1-2cm fresh snow on the slope was dry enough, so we could enjoy riding comfortably without braking. However, we had to slow down sometimes because of the bad visibility.

“The 5th Kids Ski Technical Competition” was held in the slope along Nakiyama No.2 Pair at 8:30 a.m. After the first event, “Time Race”, the participants of “Elementary School First & Second Grader Division” (Photo) showed relaxed smiles before their start of “Giant Slalom”. We hope you can do your best!
