The hair blowing in the wind. In spite of our expectation for good weather, it was very windy in the upper areas of the ski area and the sky was hazy because of the first yellow sand this year. Ms. Nemoto Fuka (Photo, Tokyo) said, “I will do my best at the next divisions of Slalom and Mogul!” after her trial of the “Giant Slalom” of All Japan Ski Technical Championships.

The winner of the women’s division after the 3 events held in these last 2 days was Ms. Kuriyama Miki (Right on Photo, Niigata) who won the year before the last year as well. She posed to my camera with Ms. Sunohara Yui who was the ex-winner (Center on Photo, 5th at Preliminary, Nagano) and Ms. Oba Yuki (Left on Photo, 9th at Preliminary, Hokkaido) together. (Thank you for your kindness even just before the performance!)

Mr. Takeda Ryu (Photo, Hokkaido) who won twice straightly got the top point at the men’s preliminary! There was a 10 point gap between the top and the 2nd point of Mr. Aoki Tetsuya (Niigata) and he is one of the front runners in this competition now. As of 9:00 a.m, the surface of the south side of Usagidaira got a little wet and smooth already.

By the way, the venue of the “Giant Slalom” and “Slalom” divisions were changed to Usagidaira from Kurobishi and that of the “Slalom (Mogul)” division was changed to Nakiyama Okabe. The super finals of 4 events of “Giant Slalom”, “Freestyle”, “Slalom, Freestyle” and “Slalom” will be held in Usagidaira tomorrow and the winning match will be also held in Usagidaira.
