The slopes get back the whiteness again. The amounts of the new snowfall were different on the spots due to the stormy weather yesterday, but the off-piste steep slope along Kurobishi No.3 Pair had 10-15cm deep fresh snow! The first skier in Kurobishi today (Photo) gave me a greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! Both Goryu in snowing yesterday and Happo under the blue sky today are so amazing!”

The fresh snow on the groomed slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad was blown away by the strong wind, so the slope was in firm corn snow condition (First Photo). The groomed slope of Panorama Course (Photo) was wetter than Kurobishi, but not corn snow and it was nicely firm.

In front of Usagidaira Terrace, “Alpen & SPORTS DEPO 2021-22 Ski Test-riding Event” is held on Apr. 17 (Sat) and Apr. 19 (Mon) now (Online booking required, Free, ID required). Totally, 180 gears of 17 brands are available here. You can try them for 30 minutes per gear and swap them anytime.

A woman from Matsumoto City in Nagano (Left on Photo) talked, “I come for the test-riding event today!” The beginning part of the groomed slope in Usagidaira was very firm and in corn snow condition. The slope was getting nicely firm and good to ski smoothly as I skied down.
