The clouds broke away in the morning and it got sunny just before the open of the ski area. I saw people taking pictures of the amazing view on the upper areas because the sea of clouds were so beautiful today. The groomed part of Usagidaira (Photo) was nicely firm and in good condition of corn snow.

On the west side, the mountains of Northern Alps showed their magnificent scale. The groomed slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad was also nicely firm and that good slope made us ski there again and again. In Skyline Course (Photo) where was busy from the morning, the corn snow had already got melted and it was very wet and soft especially in the lower part.

By the way, in spite of the enough snow, Sakka No.2 Pair Lift finished its operation this season today. The south area of Sakka (Photo) was widely groomed, so we could ski comfortably with fine ski tracks. The corn snow was soft but not too wet to make our skis slow down, so it was easy to restart after a break in the middle.

This early morning, the groomed slope of nicely firm corn snow in Riesen Slalom Course (Photo) enabled us to ski at high speed there. We could enjoy the wonderful wintry views this morning, not only the sea of clouds, but also the frozen trees in the upper parts from Usuba Area and Skyline Course.
