Happo-one / ◎290cm / Rainy & Snowy2021.Mar.06

21030601_happoMore and more people are returning to the ski areas. Especially, we can see this tendency in Happo-one because the guests from the other prefectures take up high percentages here. This morning, people from all over Japan gave me a greeting, “We always enjoy your reports! We are facing a hard situation due to Coronavirus, but we can gather to ski every weekend!”

[Usagidaira]

21030602_happoIt was slightly rainy in the village, foggy and rainy in Usagidaira and the weather was changing fast like that it got foggy and clear or the blue sky appeared from the clouds just after snowing again and again on the top area. A group of 5 people from Osaka talked, “We never missed your reports everyday! We never go to other ski areas except for Happo-one.”

[Riesen Grat Course]

21030603_happoGrat Quad was open at 8:40 a.m, 20 minutes earlier than the schedule. The beginning part (2nd Photo) of the groomed area was nicely firm with corn snow and the lower part (Photo) was soft and melted a little. We could make turns as we expected there thanks to the good condition.

21030604_happoA father from Shizuoka Pref. (Left on Photo) said, “We always enjoy your reports! I hope we will have a fine day tomorrow as forecast.” and his sons also said, “The snow is already getting melted, but still good for riding!” After that, the layer of the soft and melted snow was getting thicker and thicker in the groomed slopes as I skied down in Usagidaira, Riesen Slalom and Shirakaba.
