It was sunny clearly and calm this morning. Riesen Quad was open before the scheduled time as yesterday. It was very warm today and yesterday for February, but the groomed slope of Riesen Grat (Photo) was nicely firm and in good powdery condition!

The slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad and the south part of Usagidaira were also nicely firm, but in wet snow condition. However, the edges of my skis worked well, so we could ski comfortably there. There were various bamps in the slopes along Kurobishi No.3 Pair and Alpen Quad.

A family from Mie Pref. talked, “We always check your reports! This season is really good thanks to the big snowfalls. We had never had such a clear day like today ever!” The groomed slope in upper Skyline Course was in the same condition as Kurobishi. In the lower part, the corn snow was wetter and melted softly.

Kitaone Rindo Course was very firm in the morning, but it was getting softer as time passed. Sakka was groomed well and nicely soft with corn snow. This area was not busy, so i could find beginners and families enjoying cruising at their pace there.
