Riesen Slalom Course had good powdery snow slope in its upper part (Photo) and corn wet snow slope in its lower part. This groomed slope was nicely firm, so we could enjoy riding at high speed easily. The groomed slope of Shirakaba was also nicely firm, so we could make turns as we wanted.

By the way, “SMITH DEMO CARAVAN” (Photo) is held in Usagidaira from yesterday to today. You can try those items of goggles, sunglasses and helmets. The most popular items were goggles and the staff gave us explanations of details about those products.

At this test event, you can try CHROMAPOP lenses which adjust to changing light conditions automatically and has clear visibility. The booth prepared enough stocks of 40 goggles, 30 shades and 20 helmets. You can try those items for 30 minutes for free (*ID required)!!

This morning, the top areas over Usagidaira had strong winds from the west. Only Happo Riesen Quad, Nakiyama No.2 Pair, Nakiyama No.3 Triple, Shirakaba No1 Pair, Sakka No.2 Pair and Sakka Kitaone Quad were open as scheduled. After that, the gondola lift and Panorama Pair were open at 10:50 a.m. finally.
