We had heavy snowfall last night and the night before. The ungroomed run along Kurobishi No.3 Pair Lift received about 30 cm of new snow last night (pictured)! We had the strong cold west wind in the upper area of Kurobishi. It was freezing and my fingers were numb.

I found ski tracks from yesterday on the deep soft powder snow. I saw some regular visitors today. “The snow was much more excellent than I had expected”, they said. The undulating run along Alpen Quad was covered with about 30 cm of new snow.

Many skiers and snowboarders went off-piste down Uraguro (pictured) and Omusubi, after enjoying powder snow along Kurobishi No.3 Pair Lift and Alpen Quad. The slope was empty in the morning. The groomed powder run was blanketed with about 2 cm of new snow along Kurobishi No.2 Quad.

The powder snow was moderately packed on the southern area of Usagidaira and on the Panorama Course, covered with 2~3 cm of snow. By the way, “SMITH DEMO CARAVAN” will be held at Usagidaira Terrace on Feb.5 (Fri) and 6 (Sat). You will be able to try 2021-2022 SMITH products, including goggles and helmets, on. (※9:30 am~.
