Today, Grat Quad is open at 1:00 p.m. and Riesen Grat, the top slope of the ski area will be open finally! After 5 days with the calm weather, we had a good snowfall from the last night. There was 20cm fresh fluffy snow in Usagidaira and Kurobishi this morning.

The upper areas were in nice condition with the enough fresh snow, but the fog and snow were too thick to ski comfortably. Also, the slope along Alpen Quad (Photo) was very bumpy under the new snow, so it was in difficult condition. However, the groomed slope of Usagidaira covered with the 10cm fresh snow was nicely firm, so we could enjoy riding easily there.

It was still foggy even when I skied down to Panorama Course…, but the visibility got much better than Usagidaira and Kurobishi, so I could turn comfortably as I expected, kicking away the 5cm fresh snow. In the off-piste steep slope of Olympic Course II, the snow was getting wet and heavy as I skied down, but we could still enjoy the nicely firm bumps with the new snow.
