The sun was hidden in the clouds today, although I could see the blue sky sometimes. In Nakiyama Slope・Public Course (pictured) , like other upper areas, all bushes were covered with natural snow that fell by the day before yesterday as well as with artificial snow. I enjoyed myself in the firm snow this morning.

The powdery snow was nicely firm in the upper flat slope of Riesen Slalom Course (pictured). The snow felt firm in the lower Usuba Slope because it contained much artificial snow. I had fun to carve turns from top to bottom.

Risen was crowded, although it was a weekday. I saw skiers and snowboarders going straight down the slope in the early morning. Shirakaba Slope was groomed while the area around Gondola Sanroku Station was non-groomed and rough.

The powdery snow was nicely firm in the groomed slope of Usagidaira and in Panorama Course (pictured). For your information, the “BLASTRACK TEST RIDE” event will be held in front of Usagidaira Terrace over the weekend (Dec.26 and 27). You can try the latest model at the event. (※For free, I.D required).
