This morning, it stopped snowing finally after a week of continuous snowing lightly and heavily. We could see the blue sky for a while from the upper part of the ski area just aftet the open, but it got foggy soon. As of 9:15 a.m, the lower parts from the middle of Skyline Course and Riesen Slalom were in clear condition.
[Distant View of Ski Area]
The slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad was groomed widely and nicely firm! Today was a weekday and the lift was not busy, so we could enjoy there again and again. The off-piste areas of Usagidaira and Kurobishi were very firm, so people hardly skied into those slopes.
[Kurobishi]
The beginning part of Skyline Course was in good condition as nicely firm as Kurobishi and the lower part became firmer. The slope had enough snow and flat beautifully. We could also enjoy cruising in Kitaone Rindo Course which was very firm.
[Skyline Course]
Olympic Course Ⅱ was not groomed yesterday, but today, the central part which had a width of 2 piste crawlers was groomed. Besides, both the north and south (This area is still closed) of Sakka Area were groomed as well. The slope of Shirakaba was also flat, but quiet because the lifts were still closed there. (*You can ski down into Shirakaba from Central Course)
