Happo-one / ◎215cm / Sunny2020.Dec.20

20122001_happoRiesen Slalom Course is the moderate to steep downhill slope with 3,050 meters in length, an inclination of 20 degrees on average and an inclinatio of 30 degrees at maximum (pictured)! The course, which opened on Dec.18 (Fri), has been in great condition from top to the bottom. I saw intermediate and advanced skiers/snowboarders enjoying themselves from the early morning today.

20122002_happoThe wide Panorama Course was groomed on both sides of Kokusai No.3 Pair. Fresh snow was nice on the slope. There was about 8 centimeters of light fresh snow on the firmly groomed run, while there was about 15~20 centimeters of fresh snow on the non-groomed run of the lower southern area (pictured).

20122003_happoThe snow was not groomed on the lower steep slope of Olympic Course II today and yesterday. It was fun to carve turns in the soft dry snow, although it was difficult to ski on a lot of tracks and bumps.

20122004_happo“We enjoy your reports! We’re glad we have plenty of snow this year. We enjoyed ourselves in Hakuba47 over the last two days. We’re snowboarding in Happo today and tomorrow.”, two snowboarders from Gunma prefecture said. The snow started to calm down around 9:30 am and it stopped snowing when I reached the bottom area. According to the weather forecast, the weather is likely to improve tomorrow.
