It was foggy lightly and dry snow was falling down. As a patrol staff said “We are having the great start of the winter this year!”, the snow condition is amazing these days. Now, the amount of people from abroad is really decreasing due to the pandemics, so weekdays are relatively quiet and not busy in the ski area.

Because the strong winds from the afternoon of yesterday blew away the snow, the upper part of the ski area had only 10-20cm fresh snow. However, it was still in great powdery condition. The slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad (Photo) was nicely groomed and covered with 10-15cm fresh snow and the soft flat slope enabled us to ski very comfortably.

In Nakiyama Area, “Nakiyama Snow Land” was pre-opened at 10:00 a.m. (*It will start its operation from 9:00 a.m. on Dec. 19 (Sat), tomorrow). The children of Shimauma Nursery School were invited and they looked enjoy this new kid park cheerfully. In Rabby Park (JPY1,000 per adult or child), there are an inflatable slide, balloon and an 80-meter long kid playground for sledding.

The new moving belt has enough height for adults. In the north area, there are some kitchen cars of Ramen, Hamburger and Crepes. On the 3rd floor of Center House, there is a family room for Rabby Park ticket holders and they can play there or have a brake with the meals from the kitchen cars.
