Good snow we had! Also, it is still snowing now! It is officially announced that the amounts of fresh snow are 70cm at Kurobishi, 65cm at Usagidaira, and even in the bottom areas such as sakka (Photo), Kokusai, Shirakaba and Nakiyama has 10-15cm snowfall at 8:00 a.m. this morning.

We tried to go up to the upper part of ski area through Kurobishi Rindo (*The road is open for only staffs of the ski area now), but we gave up in the middle because of the heavy snowfall. The amount of the snow was getting more and more as I went up. The upper part of Sakka had 25cm, lower parts of Olympic Course Ⅱ and Kitaone Course had over 30cm of snow.

By the way, “Nakiyama Snow Land”, a new kid’s park will be open in the base area of Nakiyama (Just next to Happo-one Ski School & Snowboard School). This morning, the dome moving belt (Photo) which has a length of 80m and we can get on with skis was under an inspection.

Not only the ski area, but also Hakuba Ski Jumping Stadium which is located in the south part of Nakiyama was in good snowing with the north wind. Suddenly, the staffs looked to get busy and the gondola started to carry them to the upper part. [Breaking News] It is announced that Hakuba Happo-one Ski Resort will be open tomorrow! Panorama Course will be available.

*Hakuba Happo-one Ski Resort will start 20120-21 Winter operation from December 15, 2020 to May 5, 2021 (Depending on the snow).
