Happo-one / ○210cm / Sunny2020.Mar.17

20031701_happo“When the date changed, the snow had stopped,” said Patrol. However, yesterday’s daytime snowfall seemed inconceivable at this time, and the roof of a car which parked in front of JR Hakuba Station had fresh snow more than 20 cm by 18:00. It was sunny this morning, and it was cooled down by radiant cooling.

20031705_happoThe wind that I didn’t feel when I left the gondola summit station was blowing with strong strength above the early stages of Usagidaira and Kurobishi. The newly opened observation course this season is slightly packed fresh snow about 20cm. A feeling of “fluffy ” and a feeling of floating were obtained!

20031703_happoAlong the Kurobishi 3rd pair, cheers from visitors aiming at powder were rising one after another. The moderate depth of fresh snow of 20-25cm and the “packed condition” were good and it was easy to challenge. The consolidation slope was in a very slippery powdery snow condition in Kurobishi, Usagidaira, Panorama, and early to mid-Riesen.

20031704_happoThe end of Risen was harder with artificial snow. A regular (photo) customer told me, “I’m ashamed. What do you do with me? (Laughs)” “Omusubi off piste hasn’t been open for the past two days, so it’s definitely a good idea to aim for fresh snow.”
