Happo-one / ○200cm / Snowy2020.Mar.16
Due to the heavy snowfall last night, the officially announced snowfall will reach 200cm, the highest since March 5! Immediately after the opening of the business, the snow began to fall off with a strong west wind and feverish momentum. Entering Sodegro on the northern side of the Usagidaira slope, aiming for powder, a fluffy fresh snow of 20 to 25 cm greeted me.

However, both Sodegro and Usagidaira were in difficult conditions where large and small hard bumps made on the weekend were hidden under fresh snow.

There were also senior skiers who skied well with the bumps.

On the Usagidaira snow compaction route and the hard compacted snow panorama course, we were able to slide comfortably while pushing 3-5 cm of fresh snow on top. In the forest road course that bypasses the panorama course (pictured), you could play by short-cutting steep slopes or hitting the wall.

Fresh snow is also 3 to 5 cm on the well-tightened consolidation Risen Slalom course. The snow became wetty but the turn could be repeated without catching the board. From the end of Riesen, you will still be able to slide down the south side of Shirakaba to the foot of the gondola station. However, the Shirakaba slope this morning was non-compacted.
