Happo-one / ○220cm / Snowy & Cloudy2020.Feb.28
Fine weather just after the snowfall. From the middle of the ski area to the upper part, the slopes and trees were dyed pure white, and the cold air in the morning was pleasantly felt. When I got off the gondola and stepped on the compacted snow surface, I could hear the good quality of the snow.
[Usagidaira slope]
On the moderately tight Usagidaira slope southern snow compaction route (first photo) and panorama course (photo), we were able to repeat the turn we wanted. This telemarker who gave me a signal showed a splendid slide.
[Panorama course]
A customer from Gifu Prefecture said, “I’m always watching! I came to Happo for a slide because I had a break on weekdays.” The Riesen Slalom course of compacted snow was moderately tight powder like the panorama at the beginning, and the snow started to mix from the middle, and the end (Usuba slope) was a harder slope.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
The route from Risen to the Gondola Sanroku Station was hard due to the high ratio of artificial snow. It seemed that the number of visitors from abroad was drastically decreasing, probably because of the season or the influence of the new coronavirus. In contrast, the Japanese became more prominent, and we received many calls this morning.
