Guess if it was rainy or snowy… It was rainy at the foot, while it was snowy at the upper area. “I enjoy your reports! I’m taking a day off today. It’s worth it!”, a snowboarder from Nagano City said. It was foggy with fine, wet snowflakes falling.
[Kurobishi Slope]
Fresh snow was about 25 cm deep at both Kurobishi and Usagidaira as of 8:30 a.m. The non-compacted area along Kurobishi No.3 Pair was undulating. However, the snow was soft and I didn’t feel the bottom. (See the photo.) There was about 10-15 cm of fresh snow on the flat area along Kurobishi No.2 Quad.
[Kurobishi Slope]
Bushes and ground were completely covered with snow today, unlike yesterday, at Usagidaira, which was non-compacted. There was about 10 cm of fresh on the northern compacted area of Panorama Course, which was nicely firm. My skis ran smoothly, although it was rough because of the ski tracks.
[Panorama Course]
“We enjoy your reports! It’s great we have snow at the upper area, isn’t it?”, three skiers from Okayama said. Kurobishi No.2 and Alpen Quad stopped at 8:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., respectively, because of the strong wind. The whole ski slope then got closed all-day around 10:10 a.m.
