New Year period has begun. At the top of the ski area, snow has been falling since last night. I didn’t know how long it was last night’s fresh snow anymore, but this morning there was soft snow in Rabidaira 20-25cm.The upper part of the ski area cooled down to -7 ° C, and the shade was long even after it opened, and the temperature did not rise due to intermittent strong winds, so it was cold.

Yesterday, the entire ski area was closed from 10:10 due to strong winds.Visitors who got off the alpine quad lift in search of the “preserved” fresh snow, went all the way to the middle and late stages along the Alpine Quad lift (photo). In addition, the early days of the Usagidaira slope where the snow covered it were tightened and hardened.

The powder snow along the Alpine Quad and the Kurobishi 3rd pair lift was gone before 9am.”I’m always watching! Whenever I slide, I’m always looking for Snownavi.” Said two people from Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture (center of photo). The powdered snow was compacted, and along the moderately soft snow at Kurobishi 2nd Quad lift, I was able to repeat the turn I wanted.
