The temperature of the sky started to rise steadily, and it became hot by the time Kurobishi opened operations (photo). Although it was a weekday, skiers, snowboarders and climbers formed long lines in the first gondola in before the open. At around 9 a.m., Kurobishi slope and the Panorama Course were popular.

The board ran along the moist heavy Kurobishi Quad, and the edge did not sink deeply and I was able to repeat the turn comfortably. By the way, “Spring First Track Event” will be held on Apr. 28 (Sun), Apr. 29 (Mon), May 3 (Fri) and May 4 (Sat) in Usagidaira and Kurobishi! (※ 6 a.m.–7:30 a.m., Fee JPY500, season ticket or 1-day ticket for the day is necessary)

Nakiyama Triple ended its business this season on 4/21 (Sun), but this morning too, we connected with Grat, Usagidaira, Risen and Nakiyama, and enjoyed the super long run more than 5 km in total length. However, as I skied down, it became heavy corn snow, and there was a point where the course width became narrow in the middle to late Riezen.

On the nicely melted Skyline Course, I could ride on the speed comfortably without getting out of bush or soil. Two people from Tokyo and Aichi Prefecture told me, “I always enjoy your report! Today is the last Happo of the Heisei period.” By the way, “Happo Usagidaira Thanks Fair” will be held on Apr. 30 (Tuesday) and May 1 (Wednesday).
