Happo One / ○265cm / Sunny2019.Apr.20

19042001_happoWe have lots of sunny days after Apr.13 (Sat). Granular snow was getting melted when I went to the flat Riesen Grat just after the opening. “You again! We enjoy your reports!”, a couple from Aichi Prefecture said.

19042002_happoThe sun was shining and it was hot rather than warm at the upper area of the slope as of 8:20 a.m. (as shown in the photo). There was a thick layer of loose granular snow at the southern area of Usagidaira and the area along Kurobishi No.2 Quad too. Anyway, my skis ran smoothly and I enjoyed making big turns.

19042003_happoWhen it comes to soft corn snow, the mogul slope along Alpen Quad and the one along Kurobishi No.3 Pair are popular. The snow surface was a bit dirty at both slopes, however, the mogul size was perfect. I saw many skiers/snowboarders taking a break just after they went down as it was too hot to have intensive exercise.

19042004_happo“Hi! You’re Snownavi, right? I enjoy your reports. I’m coming with my ski teammates in Tokyo.”, a skier said from a distance. There were lots of ski/snowboard tracks left on Skyline Course as of 9:30 a.m. but it was okay. The granular snow was being brought together, which was nicely wet.
