Happo One / ○315cm / Cloudy2019.Apr.02

19040201_happoIt has been chilly and we’ve got plenty of snow for three nights in a row, on Mar.30 (Sat), Mar.31 (Sun), and Apr.1 (Mon). Surprisingly, the amount of snow from yesterday has exceeded that of last year which was a snowy year. “We enjoy your reports. We can’t believe it’s already April!”, a skier from Tokyo, another from Shizuoka and the other from Hakuba Village (as shown in the photo) said.
[Kurobishi Slope]
19040202_happoPowder snow was nicely firm on the compacted Kurobishi Slope. “I enjoy your reports. I finally got to see you, Snownavi! The quality of snow is amazing!”, a skier from Hakuba Village said. There was about 10 cm of soft fresh snow on the non-compacted area along Kurobishi No.3 Pair and I enjoyed going down the soft, rough slope.
[Kurobishi Slope]
19040203_happoI enjoyed gaining speed on the southern side of Usagidaira and Panorma Course where powder snow was nicely firm. At the upper area, Skyline No.2 Pair was suspended due to the strong northerly wind in the morning.
[Panorama Course]
19040204_happoPowder snow was nicely firm at the starting area of Risen Slalom Course. The slope got granular as I went down, while it got wet as I entered into Usuba Slope. Shirakaba Slope was getting melted and soft but there was no bush or bare part except for sides, and I enjoyed my way to Gondola Sanroku Station.
