Happo One / ◎270cm / Snowy2019.Mar.13
It snowed as we expected and wet snow began to flit at the bottom of slopes around 7:00. There was about 10cm fresh snow on the hard groomed burns in Usagidaira Slope. The gas was dense but we could slide down feeling the texture of fresh snow.
[Usagidaira Slope]
There was about 20cm fresh snow in the non-groomed area and about 10cm on the hard groomed burns in Kurobishi Slope. We could turn again and again on the groomed burn. There were few people in the non-compacted area but some foreigners enjoyed sliding.
[Kurobishi Slope]
The gases became denser and Grat quad lift didn’t work from the time of opening. And, just after 9:00, four lifts, including Alpine quad and Kurobishi the 2nd quad lifts, were temporarily suspended. The field of vision was also poor around the middle stage in Skyline Course. There was about 10cm fresh snow on hard burns and the snow became wet and soft.
[Skyline Course]
From the last stage of the course, the gases became light and we could see more from Kitaone Course to the bottom of the slopes. There was about 8cm fresh snow in the gentle slope of Kitaone Course and we felt a little snow resistance. The fresh snow had been compacted in the forest course. It was hard to turn because of 10cm fresh snow and there were some ground and bushes area in Sakka Slope.
