The discount for elementary school children started from yesterday, so they can get one-day tickets for 1000yen until the end of the business day! (* The early discount for adults will start from Apr. 1st ) The rain from the day time of yesterday stopped and it was sometimes sunny and sometimes cloudy. The air was cold but it was comfortable without wind.

The guranular snow had been groomed along Kurobishi the 2nd quad lift (photo) and we could repeat turning as we liked there. The south of Usagidaira had also groomed and compacted well with granular snow. There were some small and hard snowballs but the edges could bit the snow and it was nice to slide down.

The surface of the snow around Kitaone Forest Course was wet and snow in Sakka Slope (photo) was crunchy. “The seasnons is changing one month earlier than usual.” Some locals said. Central pair, Shirakaba the 1st pair, Shirakaba the 2nd pair, Nagiyama the 2nd pair and Sakka the 3rd pair lifts were closed this season because of snow melting.

By the way, “the restaurant unlike in slopes”, trattoria Karuizawa Primo recomends in this season ‘Shinshu premium beef bolognese (with salada and drink, 1980yen)’. The Shinshu premium beef was well-stewed with tomatos and some vegetables in red wine, so it’s really soft and melts in our mouth. Eggplants including much sauce are really juicy.
