After three semi-finals (Slalom, Giant Slalom, Combined Skiing) and two finals (Giant Slalom, Slalom), totally 5 races, the total scores of men’s top 30 and women’s top 15 skiers will advanced to Super Final. I felt hot as the temperature rose rapidly. From 11:30 a.m. course inspection and Super Final was started from 12 p.m.

Last year’s champion Mr. Daisuke Yoshioka was participated in the Torino Olympics in 2006. He is three time champion of the ski technique championship and one of top skiers in Japan. Currently, he is also the principal of Ninox Snow School. As a result of Super Final, he came in at 4th in this championship.

Mr. Shinichi Takase (photo), from Toyama, was 25th in the two competition ago, 16th in the last competition, and jumped up to 8th in this competition. Also, university student Mr. Zen Yamanoi (Hokkaido) was also ranked up from 22nd place to 17th place in this competition, and we are looking forward to further success in the next competition.

Mr. Yoshiyuki Kashiwagi (Niigata) who was 5th in this competition. He won 6 times, the greatest number of victories in history, and 17 podiums (within 3rd place) in the past ski technique championships. By the way, men’s 10 skiers out of the top 20, women’s 3 skiers out of the top 15 were from Niigata.
