Happo One / ◎250cm / Snowy2019.Mar.01

19030101_happoIt was cloudy at the bottom. From the middle to the top of the ski area was foggy and small snowflakes were falling and the trees were becoming white because of frost. When I went to Riesen Grat Course early in the morning, the blue sky and the sun was seen were through thin cloud, but it became foggy after that.

19030102_happoAt the south of Usagidaira, dry corn snow and fresh snow were mixed and groomed nicely. The edges of ski were gripped the nicely firm snow surface well and I could make turns comfortably.

19030103_happoPanorama Course was firmer than Usagidaira and the edges were not gripping well. The fog was very thick from early to middle part and I came under the cloud when I skied down to the last part. I could ski easily on flat Olympic Course Ⅱ where corn snow was melted soft.

19030104_happoThe snow of Sakka and Shirakaba areas were soft like in April, because of rainy and warm last few days. It was nice to ski there but I thought the slopes will be hard to ski after they became rough. The ground color was starting to stand out at the slope just before the gondola bottom station.
