It was a calm sunny day in March with a distant view. “I always enjoy your reports! I came here with friends almost every weekends.” A group from Tokyo and Kanagawa talked to us. The groomed burns in Usagidaira was a little bit hard at the beginning stage, and from the middle to the last the feeling was soft with granular snow and some small snowballs.

We have competitions, including the 1st day “(3/7) preliminary of ‘General Slide/medium steep slope’ and ‘SL/medium steep slope’ in Kurobishi (photo). ‘GS/steep slope’, ‘SL/steep slope’, finals and semifinal will be held on the second day(3/8) using all area along Alpain quad(1st photo).

Kurobishl Slope (photo) was good condition with granular snow. We are fascinated by the beautiful sliding in the competition. Riesen Slalom Course was hard and there were many snowballs at the middle.

We have test riding event of ‘NEW MODEL SKI’ produced by Mt. Ishii Sports (※It costs 1500yen for a day.) There were about 100 boards, including VOLKL, K2, LINE, ELAN and ATOMIC. You can test one or two. Almost half of the boards were been got out just 30min after open.
