Happo One / ◎255cm / Cloudy & Sunny2019.Feb.21

19022101_happoIt became colder than yesterday but it was still nice this morning. There was a dense fog instead of the wind of yesterday at the top of slopes, so Alpen Quad, Kurobishi Quad & 3, and Grat Quad lifts were out of working. On the other hand, the visibility was good at the bottom of slopes with the sun shining lightly.

19022102_happoOlympic CourseⅡ had been groomed with moderately soft granular snow. The slope were mixed with mills and pressed, so it was flat and easy to ride down. I really wanted to train on the groomed steep slopes using Kokusai 1 lift.

19022103_happoA skier from Nagoya talked to me, ” I always enjoy your report. I stayed in the car last night and now begin to ski in Happo. It’s been long time after skiing here last time and this is the first time in this season, so I’m looking forward to skiing!” Riesen Slalom Course was groomed well and in good condition. And, it snowed above this area and there was 1–2cm fresh snow in Usagidaira.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
19022104_happoPanorama Course had been groomed and groomed well as Riesen Slalom, so this morning it was crowded with people like weekends. There was granular snow in Shirakaba Slope (photo). The quality of snow was similar to that in spring season.
