Happo One / ◎255cm / Sunny2019.Feb.22
This is the frirst sunny morning in these four days. It bacame colder than yesterday but there was no wind. We felt good with the good around view at the top of the mountain. The first visitors of Alpen quad lift from Mie talked to us, “Wow, guys of snounavi! We always read your reports!”
[Riesen Grat Course]
At the early stage in the south of Usagidaira (photo), the snow was hard like an artificial snow. From the middle, 2~3cm fresh snow of yesterday was mixed with fine granular snow and groomed to be hard. “We always check your reports!” Two people from Saitama and Nagano talked to us making beautiful turns.
[Usagidaira Slope]
It was a little bit softer than Usagidaira along Kurobishi the 2nd quad litt against the north (photo) and we could speed up at the groomed area. At the early stage of groomed areas in Skyline Course, burns were hard but it became muddy and softer as sliding down.
[Kurobishi Slope]
Panorama Course was popular but a little bit hard. We heard the sound of edges shaving the surface of snow in the distance. The snow were soft and granular at the last stage of Olympic Course Ⅱ, in Sakka Slope and Shirakaba Slope. By the way, we have ‘the 60th anniversary of Hakuba Happo One Fire Festival’ tonight!
