Happo One / ◎265cm / Cloudy & Sunny2019.Feb.20
It stopped raining at the evening yesterday. Gondolas were delayed, on the other hand, we went up to the top of slopes using Nagiyama Triple and Happo Riesen quad lift. A weak wind blew around Usagidaira terrace, but Alpen quad, Kurobishi the 2nd quad, Kurobishi the 3rd pair and Skyline the 2nd pair lift didn’t work because of a strong wind.

Clouds in the sky were running at a high speed and it was alternating between being clear and cloudy. The areas of the north and south of Kokusai the 3rd pair lift were groomed in the width of three pistens in Panorama Course and there were crowded with people like weekends because the lifts in upper areas were out of working.

The quality of snow was compacted and granular in the groomed area in Panorama Course (photo). We could slide down at a high speed with edges catching snow. And the non-groomed area was also good despite some compacted ups and downs. The ups and downs in Olympic Course Ⅱ, the whole area of which had been groomed, were the same as the non-groomed area in Panorama Course.

Public Course was really compacted granular burn and easy to slide down (photo). By the way, we are going to hold ‘ Hakuba Happo One Fire Festival’ on Feb. 22th (Fri.) and the traditional amateur race, ‘The 71th Happo One Riesen Slalom Competition’ from Feb. 28th (Thu.) to Mar. 1st (Fri.) in Nagiyama Slope.
