HAPPO BANKS THE SNOW PARK has opened today! The opening ceremony was held from 9:30 am. Guest riders were introduced, following the opening address by Mr. Hayato Maruyama, who is a park producer. It was supposed to be sunny today according to the weather forecast, however, the wind sometimes blew hard in a light snowfall.

Demonstration ride by guest riders started at 9:45, then it was opened to the public from 10 am. Each item was well-prepared and the quality was excellent. The firm slope was covered with about 3 cm of fresh snow.

Not only advaced snowboarders but also intermediate snowboarders and children joined. There were of course some skiers too. The slope was soon filled with tracks and people were waiting for Kitaone No.3 Pair in a long line.

The wind was blowing really hard at the upper area. Gonodla started operation on time, while Alpen Quad, Kurobishi No.2 Quad, Skyline No.2 Pair were suspended. I enjoyed gaining speed on the firm slope of Riesen and Panorama Course, which was covered with 3-5 cm of fresh snow.
