Happo One / ◎280cm / Snowy2019.Jan.31

From this season, there is the Ramen restaurant ‘Zunpachi’ which is popular in Matsumoto at where there used to be Caffe Shirakaba until last year (* open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The popular Ramen ‘Tonkotsu Shoyu’ (950yen, photo) and ‘Tonkotsu miso’ (1000yen) are made with the special Tonkotsu soup. If you show your season pass when you order some, you can have 5% discount.

The snow was flitting at the bottom of the slope around 8 a.m. and it became heavy when we got off the first gondola. Usagidaira Slope, Kurobishi Slope and Skyline Course were groomed nicely and covered with 2–3cm fresh snow.

Not only at the bottom of slope, but also at the top I didn’t feel cold, but I couldn’t see the surface of snow because of the thick fog. “We always enjoy your report! It’s also a low visibility today.. But we could enjoy the best condition of snow in this season yesterday, so it’s worth coming!” A group from Aichi Pref. talked to me.

Kitaone 3 was under construction of HAPPO BAMKS THE SNOW PARK. The opening event on Feb. 2 (Sat.) includes Riders sessions, a special lottery and DISCO ON THE SNOW. There will be Penguin Cafe Hakuba in the food area.
