Happo one / ◎180cm / Snowy2019.Jan.17

19011701_happoThe wind was much stronger at the midlle and lowere area of the slope than I had imagined at the foot. Nakiyama, Shirakaba, Sakka and Sakka Kita-one Quad started operation on time at 8 am, while many lifts were suspended. The slope was getting crowded when I saw instructors at Evergreen Outdoor Center.

19011702_happoPowder snow was nicely firm at the compacted Kitaoe Slope. I enjoyed making turns, feeling the slope. There were firm moguls on the steep slope along Sakka Kitaone Quad, which were good to try.

19011703_happoSakka Slopw was firm, flat and nice, covered with powder snow. It was very crowded as if it was a weekend because the lifts at the middle and upper area were still suspended as of 9:30. It may be good to do a basic practice on a day like this.
