Happo one / ◎180cm / Snowy2019.Jan.16
The upper area of the slope was covered with gases and it snowed heavily with a strong wind. There was about 20cm powderd fresh snow on the non- compacted steep slope along Alpen quad lift. It was a little bit hard to slide because of some big moguls on the base and a bad visible.
[Usagidaira Slope]
The conditions in the south of Usagidaira and Panorama Course were good with compacted snow. There were about 10cm fresh snow in Usagidaira and about 3cm in Panorama Course so we could enjoy turning again and again. The field of vision in Panorama Course was better than im Usagidaira and Kurobishi, so there were much more people there than usual weekday.
[Panorama Course]
The vision became clearer at the stop of Kokusai 3rd pair lift. We needed some technics to slide with 10cm fresh snow on the hard and big mogul. There was ‘really compacted snow with about 2cm fresh snow’ ln the course under the line of gondola.
[Central Course]
Shirakaba Slope has been compacted hard and had 3cm and a little bit wet fresh snow was nice to slide on. By the way, “the Ramen restaurant Zunpachi”, which is really popular in Matsumoto, is open in Caffee Shirakaba( the building in the right of the photo) in the bottom of Shirakaba Slope in this season.
