Happo One / ◎180cm / Cloudy & Sunny2019.Jan.13

19011301_happoI saw Ms.Akita, who is a model, on the crowded slope during the three-day weekend. Visibility sometimes got poor due to the thick fog at the upper area in the morning. I saw many skiers carefully skiing big and small moguls interspersing on the area along Alpen Quad.

19011302_happoI took another photo of Ms. Akita since I luckily ran into her. The first half part was compacted, while the second half steep part was non-compacted at Riesen, which opened yesterday. There were moguls interspersing on the steep slope, however, it was nice because the slope was firm and covered with soft snow. Afterward, I was able to see Hakuba Sanzan as the fog cleared.
[Riesen Grat Course]
19011303_happoPanorama Course was compacted and nicely firm. The skier’s right side of Olympic Course Ⅱ is used for lessons by a local ski club until Feb.3 (Sun) (except for the period between Jan.16 (Wed) – Jan.19 (Sat)). The skier’s left side of the slope was difficult to go down because there were lots of big and small moguls.
[Olympic Course Ⅱ]
19011304_happoSakka No.2 Slope was crowded with families and beginners but I enjoyed making turns as I liked on the the wide flat slope. The slope were firm and my skis ran well, and my skis did not stop even when I went down slowly.
