Happo One/ ◎205cm / Cloudy2019.Jan.11
I went to the upper area by Nakiyama No.3 Triple and Happo Riesen Quad because Gondola was delayed. The upper area above Usagidaira Terrace was shrouded in the thick fog. Thus, Alpen Quad, Skyline No.2 Pair, Kurobishi No.2 Quad were suspended.

I left Panorama Course and went below clouds in the middle area. The flat and wide slope was nicely firm with 1-2 cm of fresh snow. My ski edges cut into the snow well and I enjoyed making turns as freely as I wanted.

The starting area of compacted Riesen Slalom Course was nicely firm with about 2 cm of snow. The slope got firmer and firmer as I went down, which was also nice actually. Riesen and Panorama was very crowded as if it was a weekend because lifts at the upper area were suspended in the morning.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
The weather gradually improved and a soft sunlight cast between clouds. Gondola started operation at 8:30, while Alpen Quad started at 9:40. The compacted Nakiyama and Shirakaba Slope was firm and great too.
