Happo one / ◎215cm / Snowy2019.Jan.09

19010901_happoIt had snowed most heavily in this season since yesterday evening to this morning! But the gondolas and every lift in Usagidaira, Kurobishi and Skyline were stopped in the morning because of the weather. So we came here in Olympic Course Ⅱ, it has not been compacted and was covered with powdered snow.

19010902_happoThe people coming from Kokusai the 1st pair lift, which moved about 15min late, headed to slide in Olympic Course Ⅱ one after another. There was about 60cm fresh snow and some moguls but we could enjoy the floating feeling with the powdered snow!
[Olympic Course Ⅱ]
19010903_happoThere were 40-50cm fresh snow and some moguls in Central Course but we also could enjoy the powdered snow. Shirakaba Slope had 5cm fresh snow on the compacted and flat base, so it was nice to slide. By the way, we found the amount of the non-compacted side area was 35cm.
[Central Course]
19010904_happoThere was 3cm fresh snow on the compacted burn and it was good condition to slide. Without bushes, we could enjoy the powdered snow in the steep slopes(photo) in Kokusai Slope.
