Happo One / ◎170cm / Cloudy & Sunny2019.Jan.07

19010701_happoGondola started operation at 8am as it was a weekday. The slope opens at 7:30 on weekdays and at 8:00 on weekends from today on, except for the case of events, including “Asaichi (early morning) Riesen”. Snow was lightly falling on the gentle cold wind and it was very chilly at the upper area.

19010702_happoThe edges cut into the snow well and I enjoyed making turns at Riesen, which was well-prepared and nicely firm. I saw many advanced skiers/snowboarders making big turns in the morning. Although some parts in the middle and last area were covered with artificial snow, they were nicely firm as well.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
19010703_happoRiesen was soon filled with ski tracks as it was crowded, however, it remained nice thanks to the dry snow. The compacted Nakiyama Slope・Public Course was also firm and nice with some artificial snow and no bush.

19010704_happoPanorama Course, which was flat and wide, was great too. I found big firm moguls on Central Course. The northern area of Shirakaba No.1 Pair was well-compacted and firm, while there were hard ups and downs on the non-compacted southern area.
