It was sunny without wind thanks to the high atmospheric pressure above the main island of Japan. It became -15℃( ! ) around the base area in the early morning because of a radioactive cooling, so we had powdered snow everywhere in our slope. We heard a sound under our feet as walking on the compacted burn and it made us excited before sliding.

The condition of the flat burn in Usafidaira Slope(photo) and along the 2nd quad in Kurobishi were the best with much snow in this season . We slides at a high speed eith the eadges catching the snow well. There were some moguls at the non-compacted area but we also enjoyed sliding thanks to the good condition.

Kitaone the 3rd pair lift works a little bit late (from 9a.m.), so Kitaone the 3rd Slope is a kind of secret spot. There was the pattern of corduroy on the snow. The quality of snow was still good compared with that at the upper area of the Slope. We could enjoy turning again and again as we expected. By the way, some did pole practices at the right side.

Although we don’t have to be worried about getting scratches on our board, there was not enough snow in the lowere area of the Slope. The early stage to the middle(photo) of Olympic Course Ⅱ has not been compacted and there were some bushes here and there in the lower area. We greatly appreciate your cheering in this morning!
