Happo One / ○100cm / Sunny2018.Dec.25
It was sunny at Happo as high atmospheric pressure covered Japanese islands. It was chilly with the temperature at -8℃ due to the radiation cooling. However, after the slope opened, it got nicer as the temperature gradually increased because of the strong sunshine. Kurobishi Slope, which is compacted more widely from today, was nicely firm with powder snow. I enjoyed gaining speeds there.

Many people were sliding again and again at Kurobishi. After a while, more people came from Sakka Quad via Skyline No.2 Pair and the slope got really crowded around 9:30 am. I saw lots of smiles, blessed with great weather and quality of snow.

It was chilly with little sunshine at Skyline Course in the morning. I saw many small hard snowballs at the starting and middle area of the course, however, the number gradually decreased after that. Snow from last year was left dry at the non-compacted area.

Sakka Kitaone Quad is available for sightseeing too (1,000 yen for an adult, 700 yen for a child). The Northern Alps looked very beautiful over the snowfield this morning. By the way, the area along Kitaone No.3 Pair Lift, which is currently available as a compacted slope, is going to open as HAPPO BANKS after 2019.Dec.2 (Sat).
