The spring storm was blowing hard yesterday morning and the upper lifts were delayed for more than an hour but only the weak wind blew this morning. The chill came back a little and the trees from above Usagidaira were covered with rime. I went over the clouds when I was on Alpen Quad and I could see the sea of clouds in the east.

The groomed slope of the south side of Usagidaira was melted soft and covered with 1 cm damp new snow. The skis were running well and I could ski comfortably. The steep non-groomed slope along the Alpen Quad was covered with firm ups and downs. Some parts got crusted and it was difficult to make turns.

Panorama Course was flat and soft corn snow condition. It was easy to ski and the advanced riders were making sharp turns.

The clouds were stagnated around Usagidaira & Kurobishi and the sun shined sometime at the lower part of the ski area. Olympic Course Ⅱ was nicely firm corn snow and in a good condition to ski. By the way, there were no bushes in the route from Olympic Course Ⅱ to Shirakaba through the lower Kokusai and I could ski safely.
