After the gondola open at 7:30 a.m. and Alpen Quad open at 7:45 a.m, I found Riesen Grat is over the lower clouds, however, it got foggy soon. The south part of Usagidaira was groomed and very firm this morning.

The groomed slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad and of Skyline Course were nicely firm and flat, so I could make turns comfortably. However, almost all people slowed down because of the thick fog. The slopes were not crowded with people in the early morning, so they remained fresh for a long while.

When I skied down to the station of Skyline No.2 Pair, the visibility got better. The off-piste areas of Kurobishi, Skyline and Kitaone were in difficult condition because of the icy bumps. Besides, the north part of Kitaone was closed because of the snow shortage. Sakka was flat and nicely firm, without any bushes.

Shirakaba was also groomed well. It was hard, but not too much. By the way, the steep part in the north got narrow because the snow was not enough.
