There were many clouds in the western sky but it’s been sunny for two days in a row. There were heap of bumps along Alpen Quad and Kurobishi 3, the south of Usagidaira, Riesen, Panorama and Central were groomed beautifully. It’s the very latter half of top season scenery.

I thought “The middle to bottom slopes are hard since they got a lot of sunshine” but Riesen was nicely firm and in good condition. The edges bit & skis ran well and I enjoyed making turns.

“We’ve met in Goryu before”, said the members of “Sunopara”, a ski club from Kansai region. There were the artificial snow on skier’s left of Usuba area but the slope was nicely firm in a good condition to ski.

The 48th Hakuba Happo-one fire festival is going to be held on the northern area of Nakiyama from 7 p.m. this evening. Happo-one Ski School had a level check test for free from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in advance of the festival. The sun was shining and I thought I could change into thinner sweater.
