It has been freezing since yesterday evening and snowed a lot. The fresh snow that was dry and fine was at a depth of 20-25cm in front of Usagidaira Terrace. Making an inspection of slopes took a long time and Alpen Quad delayed more than 20 mins late but visitors waited for the lift because they’re looking forward to powder snow.

Steep slopes along Kurobishi 3 got 35-40 cm of fresh snow. There were some bumps on the slopes but I felt like I was floating on the snow. Visitors dropped-in one and another and skied down  with spray of snow and shouting with joy!

Many people enjoyed skiing on heap of bumps in Sakka Kitaone Quad to Kitaone Course due to Skyline 2 started late. The amount of fresh snow was at a depth of 20-25 cm. The snow was a little heavier than Usagidaira and Kurobishi but it’s quite soft as well.

Skyline Course that had 25-30 cm of fresh snow was crowded and people waited for Skyline 2 for 5-7 mins. Some snowboarders jumped with grabbing the board. Also, groomed areas had lots of powder snow, which was in good condition.
