Happo-one / ◎330cm / Snowy & Cloudy2018.Jan.19
It has been foggy two days in a row. It’s hailing and breezing at the top of Usagidaira. I felt much colder than 0 degree that was officially announced. The fresh snow covered covered thinly in Usagidaira and Panorama course (photo).

The slope was firm and flat on the south side of Usagidiara and in Panorama. The snow in Panorama was relatively soft and the edges of skis bit snow surface well. However, the visibility was not that good…so many visitors didn’t get on Kokusai 3 and they went to the bottom of ski area instead.

Visibility was good at the steep groomed slope of Olympic Course Ⅱ. The slope was hard some snow balls were rolling there. However, when I started thinking how I should control my skis and make them fit the snow, it’s getting fun.
[Olympic course Ⅱ]
The snow was quite hard in Shirakaba. The area was crowded because of the good visibility. Many visitors enjoyed skiing using Shirakaba 1 & 2 again and again. The sun peeked for a while but it didn’t last too long and the sky has been overcast again.
