Happo-one / ◎330cm / Snowy & Cloudy2018.Jan.18
Yesterday, it was warm and raining in the lower areas. The upper areas were covered with thick fogs and it was slightly snowing this morning. Although today was a weekday of January, the gondola had a line before its opening at 8:00 a.m. and there were many people around Usagidaira Terrace.
[Usagidaira]
The south area of Usagidaira and the slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad were nicely groomed but very hard. The fog was so thick that I lost my way sometimes. Most of people were skiing slowly and carefully.
[Usagidaira]
Skyline Course was also in the thick fog…. When I skied down to Kitaone No.3 slope, the visibility got better finally. In Kitaone No.3 slope, I could make turn as I imagined because the edges of my skis worked well on the hard slope.
[Kitaone No.3]
The fog broke up in the middle part of Kitaone Course. The slopes of Kitaone Rinkan Course, Sakka and Shirakaba were nicely melting and in good condition. The visibility in the upper parts was poor, so a lot of people from beginners to experts were here.
