Free tour is held on the second and forth Saturdays from January to March. The staffs who are well versed in Happo guided to some non-famous spots and powdery areas, according to the level or demands of the participants. Two visitors from Matsumoto city at the center of the picture talked to us happily “We always tried to ski down in front of you and wave our hands, but at last, you’re taking a picture of us!”

It has been snowing from the dawn and it was strongly cold, so I felt cold while taking Alpen Quad in the early morning. At the beginning of Usaghiraira, there was thin fresh snow on the tight and flat foundation, and it was in good condition to ski fast.

The best quality of the snow remained along Kurobishi No2 Quad, on the norther side. The slope was groomed widely and the powder snow got properly tight in this morning. We enjoyed taking turns on 1-2cm of the fresh snow. Kurobishi No2 Quad began working on time at 7:55 a.m, and we enjoyed the good slope a few times!

On the other hand, it got crowded at Panorama and Risen even on early hours because we could ski soon after we took off Gondola and Riesen Quad. 1-2cm of the fresh snow pushed by the edges of the skies seemed spoiled, but it had remained flat and in good condition to ski, thanks to the tight foundation.
