Happo-one / ◎370cm / Snowy2018.Jan.11
In the strong cold, it was snowing today. Although the wind didn’t blow, Alpen Quad, Kurobishi Quad and Skyline 2 were delayed to remove the snow. But there were 30-40 cm of the fresh snow at the sides of Panorama Course, the middle of the ski area, which made me excited.
[Panorama Course]
Panorama Course was groomed widely but the grooming was done at early hour so there was about 10 cm new snow along Kokusai 3. The slope was moderately firm and I could ski fast and the spray of snow fly high over my head. Kokusai 3 was also delayed so many people were taking the gondola many times.
[Panorama Course]
There were over 30cm of the powdery snow at non-groomed area of Olympic Course Ⅱ. The bumps on the foundation were soft so, and it was in good condition to ski. The fresh snow remained for a long time at the sides because many visitors went to Central Course.
[Olympic Course Ⅱ]
There were about 5cm of the fresh snow on the groomed area and it got many ski tracks at 8:30 a.m. There were 20cm of the fresh snow at Kokusai and Shirakaba, the bottom of the ski slope. The quality was good. Then Alpen Quad began working before 9:30.
